About

As-Salamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu,

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

My full name is Laila Franklin Lawrence Bailey, but you can call me Laila! Welcome to my blog! ๐Ÿ™‚ Insha’ Allah may this be a reminder to myself first, and then everyone else. Everything correct that I say is from Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) and everything in error is from myself. I testify that there is only one God and that Muhammed (Peace be upon him) is His last and final messenger.

Ps. If you do catch any mistakes (as we are all human) Insha’ Allah you can bring this to my attention at: LailaKahiye@gmail.com I’d really appreciate it, JazakaAllahu Khayrn!

”Live how you want, but your going to die. Love who you want, but your going to depart from them. Do as you will but your going to be compensated for it. And know that the nobility of a believer is in his standing at night. And his honor is being independent of people.” Advice from Jibril (may Allah be pleased with him) to the Prophet (Peace be upon him)

Loved the narration you quote at the end of your introduction. It’d be great if you could give me it’s reference or else I’ll look it up myself insha’Allah. ๐Ÿ˜€

    Jazak Allahu Khayran!

Wa’Alaykumu Salam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu, wa fi barakallahu sis, thank you for your kind words, I love your blog as well, may Allah keep you steadfast and increase you in beneficial knowledge!

In regards to the reference here it is: Al-Haakim narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: โ€œJibreel came to me and said: โ€˜O Muhammad, live as long as you want, for you will die. Love whomever you want, for you will leave him. Do whatever you want for you will be requited for it. Remember that the believerโ€™s honour is his praying at night, and his pride is his being independent of people.โ€ Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaamiโ€™, 73.

(I listened to it in a lecture, but thats the written form of it)
